If Reddish has another gear, he’s not likely to find it in New York. 

Meanwhile, the Knicks actually could use Pritchard. It seems as if they’ve also lost faith in Derrick Rose this season. Pritchard could be a solid backup to emerging star Jalen Brunson.

Still, that’s hardly even the point here. Reddish is due to hit restricted free agency this summer. It’s hard to envision the Knicks offering him a penny. They might as well get something for him now. 

After all, they’re likely to give up on him anyway.
