NBA players can sometimes feel like superheroes. They’re not. In fact, they are human beings like you or me. 

They can suffer from confidence issues, as hard as that may be to believe. If their names are regularly featured in trade rumors, that can often be the case.

Nobody wants to feel unwanted by their employer. 

By now, John Collins has seen his name in his share of trade rumors. In fact, it feels like the Hawks have been trying to move him from the moment he signed his last contract extension. 

It’s hard to say whether that’s impacting his confidence. We’d wager it is. After all, Collins is having his worst season since his rookie campaign in 2022-23.
