There’s no world in which this deal makes the Hornets better. Beverley is a great defender, and Nunn is a fine rotation guard. Neither is nearly as impactful as Rozier. 

THat’s part of the point here. The Hornets are trying to avoid a meaningless late-season winning streak by thinning out their talent. They’ve got eyes for Victor Wembenyama in making this move.
