This season, Ayton looks a little dejected. That may be because the Suns were so hesitant in offering him a max contract extension this summer. For whatever reason, it feels like it would be in everyone’s best interest to see this partnership end.
If so, Siakam could be the perfect player to put this team over the top. With Chris Paul aging, they could use his additional playmaking. In fact, Siaklam and Booker would make for one of the most dynamic offensive pairings in the NBA.
Yes, the Suns will miss Ayton. In the same breath, they can replicate much of his production from Bizmack Biyambo and Jock Landsdale. We don’t mean to say Ayton is replaceable, but at the cost of Siakam, he may be.
