Orlando Magic
Orlando Magic Receive: G/F Evan Fournier, G Immanuel Quickley
New York Knicks Receive: F Jonathan Isaac, 2025 First-Round Pick (DEN via ORL)
This one was a little harder to justify. Frankly, we almost erased it.
At first glance, it looks a little lopsided in the Knicks’ favour. That is until you remember that Jonathan Isaac hasn’t been able to play professional basketball for the vast majority of three years. At this point, his contract should be looked at as dead money until further notice.
With that in mind, the Orlando Magic are lucky to get some value for him. Quickley is the type of scoring guard this team is missing. He could be part of what’s become an exciting Magic core for years to come.
Meanwhile, the Knicks don’t do this deal for Isaac. As always, they’re in it for the draft capital.

At the same time, on the remote chance that Isaac does make good on his potential, this could be a tremendous steal for them in the future.
Of course, if Quickley hits his, it could look like a mistake.
