Some NBA teams keep their intentions hard to conceal. On the other hand, some are a little easier to read. 

For example, the New York Knicks have nothing to hide. After chasing Donovan Mitchell last summer, they showed their hand. The Knicks intend on stockpiling draft capital until they can trade it for a star player. 

Perhaps that explains the rumors that have recently emerged. It’s been suggested that the Knicks are interested in moving Immanuel Quickley, and would be willing to include either Evan Fournier or Cam Reddish in a deal in order to do so. 

It feels safe to assume the Knicks would want a first-round pick in return. Otherwise, why give up on a talented young player like Quickley?
