It’s hard to believe it, but we’re about a quarter of the way through the NBA season.
If your favourite team is struggling, don’t worry too much. They still have plenty of time to turn it around. With that said, we do have a large enough sample size to draw some conclusions from.
For example, the Detroit Pistons are obviously a lottery team. At 5-17, they have the worst record in the NBA. They could improve as the season wears on, but there won’t be any play-in tournament run in Motor City.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been an unpleasant surprise. Their 10-11 start may not speak to their potential, but it’s certainly not encouraging.
