Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G/F DeMar DeRozan, C Nikola Vucevic 

This will not be the first time DeRozan has been linked to the Lakers. 

In fact, the organization seemed to be in the process of acquiring him in the summer of 2021. Instead, they opted to land Westbook. People are still questioning the wisdom of that decision. 

For that matter, they questioned it from day one. Nobody can deny Westbook’s talent – he’s a fist-ballot Hall of Famer. On the other hand, his fit alongside LeBon James was always suspect. 

After all, James has always thrived alongside floor-spacers. Even during his prime, Westbook was anything but.
