Obviously, Collins is not on Towns’ level as a basketball player. He is a better athlete. He’ll help the Wolves run and gun in a manner that ought to suit Anthony Edwards. 

Still, Rozier may be the main draw here. He’s a tremendous upgrade over D’Angelo Russell in the starting lineup. This deal makes the Wolves faster, and that’s effectively what they need to do if they’re going to play through Edwards. 

Finally, this deal also has the Wolves recouping some of the draft capital they surrendered in the Gobert trade.
