Why The Philadelphia 76ers Do The Deal
Harris may have some self-creation chops, but he mostly functions as a 3-and-D wing in this Sixers offense. Why not flip him for a 3-and-D wing?
Finney-Smith is an outstanding one. He won’t command offensive possessions. Finney-Smith is content to shoot when open and work as hard as he can on the defensive end of the floor.
The same can be said for Reggie Bullock. Granted, he’s in a slump from long distance this year. In all likelihood, he’ll turn it around. If nothing else, he gives this team another wing option in their rotation.
Even Bertans offers elite frontcourt spacing. Granted, his defensive limitations may keep him out of this rotation.

Still, even adding two 3-and-Ds for the price of an underused Harris ought to make sense to Philly. They may see treasure where the Mavericks see something else.
