On the subject of Davis’ recent injury history – yes, it is concerning. That’s why he’s available at this discounted rate. A few years ago, the Warriors would have had to have tacked on two or three more first-round picks to make this deal work. 

Here, they’re capitalizing on a buy-low opportunity. Meanwhile, provided he can stay healthy, Davis should still make this team better. He’s not as versatile a defender as Green, but he’s a better rim protector.
