Why The Brooklyn Nets Do The Deal

After all, they just made a coaching change. Steve Nash is out, and Ime Udoka is in. The Nets will hope that the change results in more wins this season. 

As of now, they’re a pedestrian 2-5. Realistically, that’s exactly why we’re even writing this article. The whole world knows Durant made a trade request this summer. If the Nets continue losing, isn’t he likely to make it again? 

If the Nets are forced to rebuild, this is a substantial package. They’re landing five first-round picks and a swap in addition to some interesting young players.
