Phoenix Suns Receive: G Shake Milton, G/F Furkan Korkmaz, F Georges Niang
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: F Jae Crowder
Jae Crowder may be tough, but apparently, he’s not tough enough to weather the storm that’s currently brewing in Phoenix.
Perhaps that isn’t fair. By all accounts, Crowder has requested a trade because the Suns gave his starting spot to Cameron Johnson. We can’t blame Crowder for being upset – he’s clearly a starting-caliber player.
By the same token, so is Johnson. We can’t blame the Suns for promoting him, either. All told, there isn’t a solution in sight – outside of trading Crowder, of course.
On the other hand, Crowder is likely to find the rotation in Philadelphia crowded as well. After all, he won’t be assured a starting role over either Tucker or Tobias Harris.

It’s possible that Crowder will have the same grievances about Philadelphia as he does about Phoenix.
Should the Sixers take that chance?
