If they’re apprehensive about paying that price, improving the fit around Westbrook is the next best option. 

On the other hand, if the Lakers do move Westbrook, having Curry will still benefit them – no matter who they receive in return. Floor spacers like Curry complement everyone. There is never a reason for a contender to hesitate to add an elite shooter.
