In 2021-22, that was a problem for the Bulls. With dynamic offensive players like Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan on the roster, the Bulls had less need for Vucevic’s low post playmaking than they did for rim protection.

Getting a dunk or a layup against the Bulls wasn’t a difficult proposition last season.

Meanwhile, unlike some other teams, the Bulls have no incentive to tank this season. After all, the Orlando Magic own their draft pick. The Bulls should aim to improve ahead of 2022-23 at all costs.
