Phoenix Suns Receive: G Markelle Fultz, G Reggie Jackson, 2029 First-Round Pick (Swap – LAC)
Los Angeles Clippers Receive: G Chris Paul, G/F Admiral Schofield, F/C Bol Bol

Of course, some will wonder why the Suns would blow up their core. On paper, they’ve got a pretty good thing going. In practice, it’s been a difficult summer for the organization.

Surely, you’ve heard about the Robert Sarver controversy. If not, here’s a summary: he owns the team, and some information shows that he’s somewhere between “really unprofessional and weird” and “a horrible person”, and soon, he won’t own the team anymore.

Unfortunately, that’s not the only negativity surrounding this team. Deandre Ayton may not be happy, and we know Jae Crowder isn’t. All told, things aren’t looking so bright for the Suns.

Of course, winning cures all ailments. The Suns won 64 games last season and advanced to the NBA Finals the season before that. If they return to their winning ways early in the year, they’ll likely be gearing up in hopes of making a Finals run.
