Of course, your view of this trade will be informed by your general view of Tyler Herro. As it stands, opinions appear to be divided on the young guard. 

Some people look at Herro and see a superstar. To be sure, he’s a remarkably gifted scorer. Herro is a quintessential shot maker. It doesn’t matter how you cover him. Herro will contort his body to find the daylight he needs to convert even the most outlandish field goal attempt. 

On the other hand, some see a long-term sixth man. It is fair to say that Herro is a below-average defender.

Moreover, the league’s best offensive players don’t just hit tough shots: they create easy ones, for themselves and others. As it stands, that’s not Herro’s strong suit.
