After all, every star player needs to be surrounded by quality role players. Every player on an NBA team can’t rack up impressive statistics. Some players are glue guys – they space the floor, defend hard, and generally do the dirty work. 

Danny Green has made a career doing just that. He’s the penultimate role player. Unfortunately, an injury is likely to keep him out of action for most, if not all, of the 2022-23 season. 

On the other hand, Dillon Brooks is good to go for 2022-23. He’s essentially a direct descendant of Green stylistically.
