Milwaukee Bucks Receive: G Eric Gordon
Houston Rockets Receive: G George Hill, C Brook Lopez, Draft Compensation

The Milwaukee Bucks would be moving on from Brook Lopez and George Hill with some draft compensation attached to acquire Eric Gordon.

Milwaukee could push for two second-round picks to represent the draft compensation, but Houston would likely hold out for a first-round pick to be involved. The players involved make up enough money for it to work under the salary cap rules.

During the 2022 NBA Draft, they were reportedly offered proposals that included first-round picks but they turned them down. If they are going to part with Gordon, a first-round pick is the minimum asking price it would see.

The Bucks can also offer the Rockets some salary relief. Gordon’s contract is partially guaranteed for the 2023-24 season, but George Hill and Brook Lopez are both on expiring contracts.
