In all actuality, they’re probably flipping four rotation players in exchange for a first-round pick here. On the other hand: the Heat could really use a first-round pick. As it stands, they’re painfully light on them.

That’s why this is a quality deal for the Heat. This Lakers pick is especially valuable given the team’s uncertain future outlook. The Heat should be interested in landing it – even if it means quitting on a large portion of their rotation.
