Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers are arguably the most desperate team in the NBA to make a trade between now and training camp. They have to do something to bring in more talent and the only avenue they can really take is making a trade.
They have already made one deal with the Utah Jazz, so the front offices have a rapport with each other. When Patrick Beverley was acquired, other trade scenarios were likely discussed as well, so they wouldn’t be starting from zero as other teams might be.
Bojan Bogdanovic would be an excellent fit in the Los Angeles Lakers’ lineup with his excellent floor-spacing. Shooters excel when playing alongside LeBron James and Rob Pelinka needs to get back to that blueprint for building the roster. They got away from it last season and the results were disastrous.
Bogdanovic is big enough to play either forward spot, providing Darvin Ham with some options when filling out his lineup.

If they go small ball with Anthony Davis at the center spot, Bogdanovic provides the team some size. If he comes off the bench as a backup to James and Davis, he would be the go-to scoring option with the second unit.
Making a trade for Bogdanovic likely means the Lakers would be adding another rotation piece to the mix as well. Russell Westbrook and draft compensation would make sense as a return package given where the Jazz currently are as a franchise.
