This offseason, certain NBA teams have dominated the news cycle. Whether due to moves they’ve made, or moves they could make, they’ve been on the tips of everyone’s tongues. 

You know the teams. All eyes have been on the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz since the NBA Finals concluded, among other teams. Each of those squads has been widely expected to make moves that could change the league’s entire landscape. 

In fact, the Jazz had already made one early by trading Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Recently, they made headlines again by trading star guard Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Now there’s a team who, up until that point, had been quiet. The Cavaliers always seemed more likely to stay the course, make incremental changes and look for internal improvements in 2022-23.
