New York Knicks
Utah Jazz Receive: G/F Evan Fournier, G/F Cam Reddish, G Immanuel Quickley, 2023 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2025 First-Round Pick (MIL via NYK), 2026 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2028 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2029 First-Round Pick (Swap – NYK)
New York Knicks Receive: G Donovan Mitchell
At the same time, who’s to say the New York Knicks can’t still land Donovan Mitchell?
In fact, it’s unclear whether the Jazz were even interested in Barrett. If they’re moving Mitchell, there’s every possibility that they’d prefer to bottom out, start from scratch, and maximize their lottery odds ahead of the 2023 Draft.
In that event, this deal may suit them better. The Jazz will be especially happy to afford Cam Reddish the opportunity to explore his game. He hasn’t been an impact player in the NBA yet, but his potential remains.
Furthermore, Quickley has been impressive in a low-usage role in New York – the Jazz will increase his ball-handling reps considerably.

Still, this is all about the draft haul for Utah. Realistically, a Mitchell deal always would have been anyway. There’s a possibility that they’re out on a deal that won’t include Barrett, but we wouldn’t count on it.
With that said, if the New York Knicks have lost interest, the Jazz can surely find another taker for their star guard.
