Some fans may have expected a bigger return for Julius Randle. By our estimate, this is likely to be roughly his value this summer.
After 2020-21, it would have been substantially higher. At that time, Randle was coming off an All-NBA appearance and a Most Improved Player award.
Of course, the Knicks would have had no incentive to shop him at that time.
They’d have plenty to do so now. In 2021-22, Randle’s play took a significant turn for the worst. Of course, his trade value did the same.
