Firstly, we need to consider what the Jazz could potentially get for the players they’re giving up here. In all likelihood, they’re not likely to get much more than they do here.

That’s not a knock on either Conley or Bogdanovic. For what it’s worth, they’re both quality players who would help a win-now outfit in 2022-23. That doesn’t mean their trade value is any higher than this.

After all, Mike Conley is aging, and on an expensive contract. On the other hand, Bogdanovic is on an expiring deal. Surrendering more than one first-rounder for the two, even combined, won’t be palatable for most teams under those conditions.
