Utah Jazz Receive: G Russell Westbrook, 2027 First-Round Pick (LAL)
Minnesota Timberwolves Receive: G Mike Conley, F Bojan Bogdanovic
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G D’Angelo Russell
If this deal went down, it wouldn’t be the first time the Jazz and Timberwolves hooked up this summer.
In fact, the two sides made arguably the biggest deal of the summer so far. The Jazz sent the Wolves Rudy Gobert in exchange for, among some players, four unprotected first-round picks.
The return was so large that some would argue it broke the market. Now, teams are apprehensive to make trades – after all, nobody wants to be the team that traded Superstar X for less than the Jazz got for Gobert.
Of course, this deal doesn’t go down unless the Jazz make yet another move first. If the Jazz hang onto Donovan Mitchell this summer, they won’t be interested in this deal.
