Dallas Mavericks Receive: F Duncan Robinson, G Gabe Vincent, 2026 Second-Round Pick

Miami Heat Receive: F Davis Bertans, G Josh Green

This hypothetical deal between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat is one in which both teams could shore up potential positions of need while swapping what has turned into undesirable long-term contracts.

Duncan Robinson has four years remaining on his contract, but there is always value in shooting. Dallas would love to have that around Luka Doncic, as the more spacing they have the better.

That is something that Davis Bertans provides as well but from the frontcourt. They are swapped hoping that a change of scenery gets both of them back on track. Since his contract is one season shorter, Miami sends a future second-round pick to Dallas. 

Heading to Miami with him is former first-round pick Josh Green, who has yet to receive consistent rotation minutes. He is swapped for Gabe Vincent, who fills a need for the Mavericks in the backcourt.
