Washington Wizards
For better or worse, the Washington Wizards and Bradley Beal are committed to each other for the foreseeable future. The two sides agreed to a supermax extension, which isn’t unexpected. What surprised some people was the fact that Beal also received a 15 percent trade kicker and a full no-trade clause.
That makes Beal the most powerful player in the NBA when it comes to determining where he will be playing throughout the duration of the contract. The Wizards certainly hope the entirety of it is spent with them, but Beal can pretty much dictate wherever he does should he want to be moved.
Washington needs to do everything it can to show Beal that they are committed to building a winner. Capped out for years to come, a trade is the only real avenue they have to upgrade the roster. They could use some help at the point guard position and Kyrie Irving would make for a good target.
The trio of Beal, Irving and Kristaps Porzingis would make for a very intriguing one. That offense should flow nicely as all three are capable of carrying the load for a period of time.

Porzingis has also turned into one of the best rim protectors in the NBA and should clean up any mess in front of him as Beal and Irving aren’t the best defenders.
As for the trade package, the Washington Wizards have a ton of depth that could look to consolidate. Will Barton and Kyle Kuzma could be used as the players to match salary. Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, Johnny Davis and Corey Kispert could be used to round out the package as well.

A swap between the Wizards and Nets is something that both teams could benefit from. Brooklyn would acquire some excellent depth for their rotation while Washington would land another star to help move the team up the standings in the Eastern Conference.
