Brandon Ingram
The New Orleans Pelicans went on a great stretch at the end of the season to make the playoffs. They defeated the San Antonio Spurs and LA Clippers in the NBA Play-In Tournament, earning the No. 8 seed and a matchup with the Phoenix Suns. They gave the Suns all they could handle, losing in six games.
Expectations are rising in The Big Easy, especially since they accomplished all of that without Zion Williamson in the lineup. CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram did a lot of the heavy lifting. However, there have been some reports that Ingram and Williamson don’t always mesh on the court.
A lot of people believe that Williamson will ultimately make his way to the Big Apple, but if he is sincere in his commitment to New Orleans, the New York Knicks should get on the phone and ask about Ingram if there are any signs of friction.
Brandon Ingram has already made an All-Star team and is one of the best point forwards in the NBA. His production has been consistent with the Pelicans despite the constant changing of the roster makeup and roles around him.
