OG Anunoby
The Toronto Raptors have been involved in plenty of trade rumors this offseason. They are going big game hunting as they have been connected to Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell. Their all-in offer is as competitive as anyone else’s even if they do not include reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes Jr.
One of the players likely involved in those trade talks is OG Anunoby. Anunoby has prototypical two-way wing size, built like Kawhi Leonard. Some believe he has that kind of potential as well as his career arc to this point is similar to Leonard’s as well.
If the Knicks want to swing a trade for a high-upside player on the wing with immense defensive potential, OG Anunoby is someone that could be attainable. He would cost significantly less than the other All-Star players mentioned and at 25 years old still has time to round out his game.
If the reports about Anunoby being displeased with his role in Toronto are true, the Knicks should make a call. He is young enough that he fits the timeline they are on and moving RJ Barrett into the shooting guard spot would give the lineup a lot more balance.

Evan Fournier is likely better suited for a bench role than starting spot given his struggles defensively.
OG Anunoby may not be a star right now, but the potential is there for him to reach that level. At the very least, he will be an elite 3-and-D performer on the wing with multi-positional versatility on defense.
