Boston Celtics Receive: F Kevin Durant, G Seth Curry
Brooklyn Nets Receive: G/F Jaylen Brown, F Grant Williams, G Derrick White, Two Future First-Round Picks
With this trade, the Celtics would be getting another depth piece in Curry that would add three-point shooting around Durant and Jayson Tatum.
Giving up Brown, Williams, White, and two first-round picks is a steep price, but it is a price that Boston should be willing to pay.
The opportunity to trade for a talent like Durant does not come around very often. In fact, Durant would be arguably the best player that has been traded in a long time.
For the Celtics, this would be a move to go all-in on winning a championship, and there would be a high probability that the gamble would pay off.

On the other side of this deal, the Nets would be re-tooling but would still stay in contention. A lineup of Kyrie Irving, assuming he stays, Brown, Ben Simmons, and the rest of their supporting cast would be solid at least.
Let’s take a closer look at why both the Nets and Celtics should pull the trigger on this kind of a deal.
