In case you’re just waking up from an extremely long nap, Kevin Durant just requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. There will be many offers. A player of Durant’s status does not become available for trade very often. Still, some offers will be more viable than other.
Some teams have an obvious package to offer. The Phoenix Suns could throw Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and draft capital at the Nets.
The Raptors could offer some combination of Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby, and Fred VanVleet. The list goes on.
Other teams may not have such a clear path towards landing Durant. With that said, if those teams are willing to throw the kitchen sink at Brooklyn, they might be able to make it happen.
