Good Landing Spot: Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers may not be full-blown title contenders. Still, they’re much closer in their process than the Rockets.

Adding a veteran talent like Gordon could edge them even closer to the Larry O’Brien trophy. Gordon would be an upgrade for this roster in several ways.

Realistically, he’d fill the role that Caris LeVert played for them last season. It’s fair to wonder whether he’ll do a better job in it.

LeVert is a talented player, but he’s woefully inefficient. By contrast, Gordon shoots threes with a rare blend of volume and accuracy. He’s also, in all likelihood, a better defender and a roughly equal shot creator.
