Miami Heat Receive: G/F Danny Green, F Furkan Korkmaz
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G/F Duncan Robinson

It’s worth noting here that Danny Green recently suffered a serious injury that’s likely to keep him off the floor for most of 2022-23. Otherwise, this trade would not be remotely realistic.

After all, Green is the type of two-way wing that any contender covets. He spaces the floor roughly as well as Robinson, and he’s a strong defender as well.

All of which is moot. Green is a contract in the context of this deal. The Sixers would be happy to move him in exchange for Robinson under the condition that they can’t find a better deal this summer.

In all fairness, Robinson’s floor spacing would be a tremendous help for this Sixers offense. Furthermore, his defensive shortcomings could be masked by Joel Embiid’s rim protection. True, Bam Adebayo is a strong defensive big as well. Still, he doesn’t deny layups and dunks on the same level as Embiid.

With that said, the Heat may not be inspired by Korkmaz. He’s fine, but they may be inclined to give up a little more to get a little more. If that’s the case, this next deal may suit them better.
