Chicago Bulls
By all accounts, it appears as though Zach LaVine is likely to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls this summer. That’s great news for fans in the Windy City.
Now, the Bulls need to go about upgrading the roster around him.
In all likelihood, LaVine will continue forward as one of a two-headed offensive monster alongside DeMar DeRozan. That’s fine, but as the duo on the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls’ stars could use floor spacing around them.
DeRozan’s limitations from long distance are well-documented. LaVine is an effective shooter, but he’d still benefit from having a sniper like Hardaway Jr. on the floor. In fact, that’s true of every brilliant offensive player in the NBA. Shooters like Hardaway Jr. open up driving lanes, passing lanes, and in general, opportunities.
