Indiana Pacers Receive: G/F Evan Fournier, F Cam Reddish
New Yor Knicks Receive: G Buddy Hield
If the Indiana Pacers have a preference between these two deals, it will reflect their opinion of Cam Reddish.
By all accounts, Reddish has been disappointing at the NBA level so far. He was a top prospect in high school, and his professional production has not reflected that reputation.
He’s still just 22. Reddish is brimming with potential. Furthermore, Indiana may be the best place for him to realize it. This team doesn’t have a long-term small forward. If Reddish can make good on his long-held promise for them, he’ll change that fact.
Both of these deals seem fair, but they’re also a little lackluster. The Pacers may want more rebuilding assets.
