Otherwise, they’re still getting good value back for Grant here. Brooks is a rugged 3-and-D wing who’ll help set the tone for a new Pistons culture. Killian Tille is a 24-year-old stretch big with some upside. Finally, they’re still getting a first-round pick for Grant’s services.

That’s a good trade for a player whose time has clearly run its course with the organization. Grant’s emergence as a star on the Pistons has been fun, but this organization is heading in a distinctly different direction.
