Making the Case: Miami Heat
After coming up short in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat will need to get creative with how they reconfigure their roster around Jimmy Butler.
Again, Kyle Lowry was flat out rough in the playoffs. Sure, he was playing injured that should be taken into consideration. However, he is going to be 37-years-old late next season and it’s challenging to envision him having an easier time staying healthy the older he gets.
Malcolm Brogdon would be an intriguing option for the Heat to add to their backcourt. He brings size to the point guard position and not only is he capable of making plays with the ball, he’s at his best attacking off the catch.
As previously mentioned, there are obvious injury concerns that need to be brought up when discussing Brogdon as an option for any team. The Heat would need to be comfortable with that.
