Of course, the Indiana Pacers aren’t too interested in him here either. They’re effectively swapping Myles Turner for the Grizzlies’ 2023 first-round pick. For a team in their position, it’s a good move.

After all, this team can spare Turner. They’ve got two burgeoning young big men in Isaiah Jackson and Jalen Smith. Given their current organizational direction, a first-round pick is more valuable to them.

Of course, there’s a reason they could decline this deal: Steven Adams. He may be limited in the playoffs, but we’ve also already outlined all the ways he can help in the regular season.
