It’s Irving’s aloofness that is making this organization uneasy. He doesn’t appear to be as committed to basketball as you’d like someone to be if you’re paying them tens of millions of dollars to do so. Unfortunately, failing to commit to him may cost them Kevin Durant.

Rumors also suggest that Durant would leave the Nets if they didn’t retain Irving. In all likelihood, he’s growing weary of what appears to be discord within the team.
