3. James Wiseman
There have been a lot of talks about what the Golden State Warriors could do this offseason. They are on the cusp of another championship, as they are set to take on the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
Regardless of how that series turns out, the Warriors are going to have some difficult decisions to make this offseason. They have several free agents, including key rotation players in Kevon Looney, Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr. Jordan Poole is also extension eligible and the team has to figure out what to do with Andrew Wiggins, who is set to become a free agent in 2023.
They have been linked to centers thus far and Myles Turner is one of them. If they need another player for the wing, Buddy Hield could also come into play. This is basically the Eastern Conference version of Christian Wood and Eric Gordon being combined in Houston Rockets mock trades.
If the Indiana Pacers and Warriors do engage in trade negotiations, Indiana should set their sights on acquiring James Wiseman, especially if they operate as a rebuilding team.
