Myles Turner

The Brooklyn Nets desperately need an interior presence and a buoy to their defense. Myles Turner can be both for them, as well as a fine complementary offensive piece and an available option. The Nets will be hard-pressed to find another player that fits all four of those categories.

The Indiana Pacers should be about ready to have a complete fire sale before next season begins, or at least before they reach the trade deadline in 2023. They’ll have to find new homes for Malcolm Brogdon and Buddy Hield.

Myles Turner will be an interesting case study, as he’s young enough to be a part of their future still but might be better off used as a trade asset instead of an actual cornerstone alongside Tyrese Haliburton.

If Pacers General Manager Kevin Pritchard is still on the fence about Turner’s future in Indiana as they approach the trade deadline, the Nets may have to offer him a package that he can’t refuse.
