Buddy Hield is not one of the NBA’s most well-rounded players. He’s a mediocre defender, a subpar passer, and a ho-hum ball-handler.

Hield is a specialist. It just so happens that his specialty is three-point shooting. For that reason, the Bulls need to target him.

After all, Hield is one of the most consistent three-point shooters in the NBA. He’s connecting on 39.8% of his attempts throughout his career. Far from a standstill shooter, Hield can shoot over defenders, off the dribble, and in motion.

He may be gettable too. It’s unclear how his Indiana Pacers will proceed this summer. If they view themselves as a rebuilding squad, the Bulls may only have to match contracts and add sweeteners to land Buddy Hield.
