The Indiana Pacers are slated to look vastly different at the end of the 2022-23 NBA season as compared to how they started this past season. Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, and Jeremy Lamb are all already gone, replaced with Tyrese Haliburton.
T.J. Warren will be entering unrestricted free agency this summer. Myles Turner will be back healthy and ready to rebuild his trade stock in hopes of getting dealt to a contender. Malcolm Brogdon will be eligible to be moved starting this offseason.
With Haliburton and the sixth-overall pick in the upcoming draft in tow, with a few shrewd moves for either young prospects or future draft capital, the Indiana Pacers could make for an insanely swift and efficient rebuild if they play their cards well and a few things break right for them.
Part of that process will entail finding the perfect new home for the veteran sharpshooter, Buddy Hield, who was acquired alongside Haliburton as mostly salary filler. He should hold plenty of trade value, though, as a dangerous off-ball weapon and capable secondary playmaker.
