Golden State Warriors Receive: C Rudy Gobert
Utah Jazz Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, No. 28 Pick in 2022 NBA Draft
This first trade package is being made under the assumption that the Utah Jazz is ready to break up their All-Star duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. Reports are pointing toward that being a real possibility, and in this scenario, it is Gobert that is on the move.
The Golden State Warriors land a much-needed center, a need that can grow if Kevon Looney departs in free agency. The Warriors make the decision that they cannot count on James Wiseman to produce in a win-now situation, including him as part of the package heading back to the Jazz.
Utah now has a potential franchise center to build around in Wiseman. Depending on the direction they take things this offseason, they will be able to afford him the chance to develop more than Golden State can.
Andrew Wiggins fills a major hole on the roster, as the team is desperate for versatile wing players. The former No. 1 overall pick has really come into his own this offseason, earning his first All-Star nomination. He provides the team with a secondary scorer behind Mitchell and an excellent defender, living up to his potential as a two-way wing player.

The 28th overall pick provides Utah with another asset to swing another deal should the opportunity arise to make another. If not, the Jazz will at least have a chance to add another low-cost youngster to the mix.
