The Utah Jazz has to make some changes to their roster this NBA offseason. Quin Synder has done an excellent job navigating the team throughout the regular season the last few years, but they consistently fall short in the postseason.

Utah has not gotten past the second round of the NBA Playoffs since 2007 when they lost in the Western Conference Finals to the San Antonio Spurs.

In the last few seasons specifically, the inability to advance has been tough to stomach.

In 2021, Utah caught a huge break when Kawhi Leonard got injured in their second-round series against the LA Clippers. Leonard was injured in Game 4 when the series was tied 2-2, but the Jazz was unable to take advantage, as they lost the next two games.

This year, the Dallas Mavericks were without Luka Doncic for the first three games of their first-round series, but Utah still fell behind 2-1.

That very well could be the last straw for the front office, which has a new voice in Danny Ainge. He should look to shake things up this offseason and be focused on adding a versatile wing player to the mix.
