LA Clippers
Apparently, we love the idea of Chris Paul landing in Los Angeles. Maybe we’re just assuming he’s grown accustomed to that hot Phoenix weather.
On the other hand, it may just so happen that both LA teams need a point guard. Consider this a bet that either would be satisfied with the best one of his generation.
As it stands, Reggie Jackson starts at the position for the Clippers. He’s a solid scoring guard, but he’s not exactly a floor general in Paul’s mold. If the Clippers could package contracts and picks to land Paul, he’d dramatically elevate their already-high ceiling for 2022-23.
It would also, of course, make for a fun reunion story. Chris Paul spent, arguably, the best years of his career with the Clippers.
