Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have arrived in the Western Conference. After bursting into the postseason last year, the Grizzlies finished as the second seed in the conference this time around.
Now, the Grizzlies front office can look to put some more pieces around Ja Morant, who is looking like a future MVP in the league.
Last offseason, Memphis put certain players on the trading block, such as Kyle Anderson and Dillon Brooks. Anderson is entering free agency at the end of the year while Brooks has one year left on his deal. This means he would still be able to act as a trade piece if the front office wants to make a move.
Huerter would fit the fast-paced style for the Memphis Grizzlies right away. They have built some depth on the bench and Huerter would add more right away. The fit next to Morant would be strong because Huerter would require some attention on the perimeter. This would open up the middle a bit and allow Morant to penetrate the defense.
