In Thybulle, the Pacers land a 25-year-old who’s already established himself as one of the very best defenders in the NBA. Granted, his offensive game is almost non-existent. He still gives you enough in terms of point prevention to compensate.

On the other hand, Korkmaz gives you a little bit of both. He’s a 35.5% career three-point shooter who provides roughly average perimeter defense. He’s not the most exciting player, but an uptick in either his three-point percentage or defensive impact could lead to the 24-year-old becoming a bonafide 3-and-D wing.
