Washington Wizards Receive: F Michael Porter Jr., 2026 First-Round Pick (DEN), 2028 First-Round Pick (DEN)
Denver Nuggets Receive: G Bradley Beal
Whether the Washington Wizards have an interest here depends on how concerned they are about Michael Porter Jr.’s health.
When he is on the floor, the 23-year-old looks every bit of a future NBA superstar. He’s able to create three-pointers out of thin air, and knock them down with tremendous efficiency. At 6’10, that skill alone is enough to make him a viable second option in this league.
On the other hand, his health concerns are prevalent. Given his history, the Wizards may ask for more than two first-rounders in exchange for his services.
Unfortunately, the Stepien rule disallows the Denver Nuggets, who have several picks outgoing already, from offering them.

If the Wizards are confident enough that Porter Jr. can turn his health issues around, this is a good trade for them. If they’re dubious, they may need a more secure package. In that event, a third-team might enable a deal to get done here.
